Session Feedback
Robert Hamlyn
Bangkok — retired, UK pension
I had three boxes of documents I'd been meaning to sort for years. After the session, I had a proper system — everything labelled and filed in a way I can actually maintain. The person running the session explained what each type of document generally contains, which helped me understand what I was looking at for the first time.

Bangkok — documents from AU & UK
The workshop was more useful than I expected. I came in knowing very little about how pension statements are generally laid out, and left with a much clearer picture. The group was small enough that I could ask questions without feeling self-conscious. I'd have liked a little more time on the Australian format specifically, but overall it was well worth attending.

Bangkok — library member
I've been a library member for about eighteen months now. The checklists are genuinely useful — I use the "new document received" checklist every time something arrives in the post. The update sessions are short and to the point. Good value for what you get.

I wasn't sure what to expect. I half-thought it would be a sales pitch for something else. It wasn't — it was exactly what they said it would be. We went through my documents, sorted them, and I left with a folder I could actually use. The person was patient and didn't make me feel embarrassed about how disorganised things were.

Bangkok — three countries' records
Attended the workshop in May. The content was clear and the pace was good — not too fast. What I found most helpful was the section on understanding what different document types typically contain. I have records from three different countries and the general explanation helped me understand the structure without anyone having to look at my specific documents.

Silom area, Bangkok
I joined the library membership after attending the workshop. The materials are organised clearly — the same way the session itself was run. Having the templates to hand when something new arrives has made a difference. I actually use them rather than just putting things in a pile as I used to.

How Participants Got Organised
Case Study 01 · Document Organisation Session
The Situation
A retired British resident in Bangkok had accumulated twelve years of pension correspondence — statements, annual summaries, scheme update letters — stored across three different folders with no consistent labelling. He couldn't quickly locate specific years or document types when he needed them.
What Happened in the Session
During a two-and-a-half-hour session, the documents were sorted chronologically by scheme, then by year within each scheme. Each category was given a clear label. A master index sheet was created so he could find any document in under a minute. We explained what each document type generally contains in plain terms.
The Outcome
Three folders became one organised binder. His own summary: "I spent two hours with Clearpath and sorted what I'd been putting off for years. I left with something I could actually use, and I've kept it up since — which is the part I didn't expect."
Case Study 02 · Information Workshop
The Situation
An Australian expat in her early sixties held superannuation statements she had stopped opening because she found the format confusing. She knew she should have a clearer picture of what she held but didn't know where to start without speaking to someone.
What Happened at the Workshop
The workshop covered how pension and superannuation statements are generally structured — the common sections, what the labels typically mean, and how different document types relate to each other. Questions were handled at the end, with all responses kept to general information.
The Outcome
She described the workshop as "the most useful three hours I've spent on this subject." After attending, she booked a document organisation session to apply what she'd learned to her own records. She felt more comfortable opening and reading new statements as they arrived.
